Huning Ranch Park not yet platted.
A wealthy businessman who earned his fortune as a supplier for the Army’s frontier outposts, Henry Huning arrived in the Show Low area in 1881. He owned a ranch stocked with Hereford cattle from England and Percheron stallions. His home included a library, wine cellar and cold storage plant. He employed his own private Chinese chef. The grand Huning Ranch lends its name to a grand neighborhood in Show Low Bluff. Featuring the largest, most secluded homesites in the community, backing right up to the Sitgreaves National Forest. Designed for high-country living in a style that would make Henry Huning proud.
